Tye Basham

Tye Basham joins Doc Lab Inc as a seasoned healthcare strategist and operator with 20 years of experience leading complex initiatives across hospitals, health systems, and diagnostic laboratories. Over the past five years, he has focused on clinical diagnostics and laboratory services, building and scaling multi-state diagnostic ventures. At a national reference laboratory, he oversaw Operations as specimen volume grew from 15,000 to 140,000 samples per month during his tenure, all while maintaining quality and compliance and improving turnaround times.

A strategic thinker and creative problem solver, Tye began his career in business consulting at Accenture, where he developed deep expertise in project management and process improvement. He has since built and led Program Management Offices (PMOs) for multiple organizations and achieved Lean Six Sigma certification, helping companies streamline operations, reduce waste, and execute on large-scale strategic initiatives.

Before moving into the laboratory space during the pandemic, Tye spent more than a decade in hospital administration and revenue cycle management with Tenet Healthcare/Conifer Health Solutions. He has led cross-functional teams of varying sizes and is known for building strong relationships with clients, physicians, executives, and employees. Tye holds a Business degree from Baylor University, where he majored in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
